Privacy Policy
Effective October 11, 2026
This site, pauladlpn.com, is run by Paula Diener, LPN. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. If you have a question, email info@pauladlpn.com.
The short version
- You can read everything on this site without giving us any personal information.
- If you join the email list or sign up for a webinar, we collect your first name and email address so we can send you what you asked for.
- We never sell your information.
- Please don’t send health information or patient information through any form or email. We don’t need it and won’t use it.
Information you give us
Email list and webinar sign-ups. When you sign up, you give us your first name, your email address and, for the webinar, the session and reminders you choose. We use this to:
- send the webinar join link, your confirmation and any reminders you asked for
- send occasional emails with practical tips and news about Paula’s training
Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can leave at any time, and you’ll stop getting emails right away.
We use MailerLite to store the list and send emails. MailerLite keeps this information on our behalf and records basic details such as when you signed up, and whether an email was opened or a link was clicked. This helps us see which emails are useful. See MailerLite’s privacy policy.
Webinars. Webinars run on Google Meet. When you join, Google handles the meeting connection under Google’s privacy policy. We do not record webinars unless we tell you first at the start of the session.
Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message so we can reply.
Information collected automatically
Site hosting. This site is hosted by WordPress.com (Automattic). Like most websites, it records standard visit information, such as pages viewed, the type of browser and device, and your IP address, for security and site statistics. See Automattic’s privacy policy.
Cookies. Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site and the services below use them to keep the site working, count visits, and measure our marketing. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
Amazon links. Some posts include links to products on Amazon. Amazon and other third parties may serve content and ads, collect information directly from visitors, and place or read cookies on your browser. When you click an Amazon link, Amazon’s privacy notice applies. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how these links work.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent your personal information.
- We don’t ask for or collect health information.
- We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we’ll delete it.
Your choices
- Stop emails: click “unsubscribe” in any email.
- See, correct or delete your information: email info@pauladlpn.com and we’ll answer within 30 days. We honor these requests wherever you live.
- Cookies and ads: use your browser’s cookie settings and your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.
How long we keep information
We keep your sign-up details while you’re on the list. If you unsubscribe, we keep only what’s needed to make sure you don’t get emails again. Messages you send us are kept as long as needed to reply and follow up.
How we protect it
Your information is stored with the services named above, which use industry-standard security. Our accounts use two-factor sign-in where it’s offered. No method of storing data online is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll tell the email list.
